2014-06-06 123 Dailymotion

Graffiti artists in Brazil’s main cities continue to demonstrate against the World Cup, which begins in one week’s time. Graffiti artist Roma is known for his political artwork throughout the streets of RIo de Janeiro. He uses this as a way to communicate and mobilise the Brazilian population. One of his characteristic works depicts the 2014 FIFA mascot, an armadillo, with money poking out of its waistline, a cloth over a raised fist, and teeth bared.
